Then, Stewie tries to take over the world and in the interim auditions for the AMERICAN IDOL judges Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Paula Abdul. Meanwhile, Lois realizes that she must stop Stewie.

Hope and Crosby they're not, but Brian and Stewie do have some odd adventures when they bum their way across the country together after losing their plane tickets. In another plotline, Lois makes Peter watch a video designed to help couples communicate more effectively. Sam Waterston has a cameo as Brian's analyst. The topic: Brian's loss of his mother.

The men of Quahog drink themselves into stupors trying to win a contest sponsored by the mysterious brewer Pawtucket Pete. The prize: a tour of his near-mystical brewery (and a lifetime supply of beer). Meanwhile, Lois (voice of Alex Bornstein), a frustrated pianist who competes vicariously through the students she teaches, finds one with real promise just before a big competition.

When Meg can't find a date to her junior prom, Brian gets suckered into going with her, even though he is dating Jillian. When Brian arrives at the dance he gets drunk to ease his pain, but after he makes out with Meg he really hurts. The next morning Meg starts to think of Brian as her boyfriend and becomes obsessed with spending every waking moment with him. Meanwhile, Peter, Cleveland and Quagmire join the police force and have to come to Brian's aid.

When the power goes out in the Griffin home, Peter decides to educate his family and pass along the greatest story ever told- the story of Star Wars! After Princess Leia comes under siege by Darth Vader and his evil Storm Troopers, C-3PO and R2-D2 escape to find the only person who can help the Rebel Alliance. On their quest thorough the desert planet of Tatooine, C-3PO and R-2D2 find extra help in Obi-Wan Kenobi, Luke Skywalker, Han Solo and Chewbacca and head back to battle the Death Star in an epic intergalactic fight to the death.

After Peter helps deliver Lois's sister's baby, he and Lois decide to try to have another kid, but Stewie will attempt to foil their new plan.

After Lois saves Stewie's beloved teddy bear, Rupert, he starts to think that maybe he shouldn't kill his dear old mom and clings to her like a baby blanket. However, Stewie's change in demeanor doesn't go over well with Lois and she gets sick of all of his loving attention. Meanwhile, Peter undergoes a prostate exam and thinks his doctor is molesting him.

When the Griffins win a trip to Maine at Peter's company picnic, they decide to invite their friends on the vacation; tensions run high and things soon spiral out of control when the cabin burns down.

Peter and his neighbors enter a float in Quahog's annual Harvest Festival Parade. They win, but then the trophy turns up missing and the winners all suspect each other of stealing it. Meanwhile, Meg (voice of Lacey Chabert) needs $1100 for a purse, so she takes a waitress job, and takes Stewie with her---pretending that she's an unwed mother and Stewie is her crack baby.

Peter survives a health scare but gets a killer bill. So he writes "deceased" next to his name on a form---and is visited by the Grim Reaper himself. How, Peter wonders, did Death get the form? "It was e-mailed to me by your HMO." But Death must take a forced holiday when he sprains his ankle chasing Peter, who has no desire to go gently into that good night.

When Meg lands an internship with Mayor West, Brian argues that he's corrupt. Determined to expose his shady ways, Brian and Stewie go undercover and discover that Meg is in deeper than they thought. Meanwhile, a local talent show brings Peter and Lois back to their folk singing days. Unfortunately, they also revert back to their hippie ways and Chris must stage an intervention.

After Joe builds a new home theater system, Peter tries to top it by building a multiplex in his backyard and discovers an Indian burial ground. But when he takes an Indian chief's skull, the house becomes haunted and Stewie pulls a "Carol Anne" and gets sucked into the television. Unfortunately for the Griffins, getting Stewie back from the poltergeist is just the beginning.

Stewie travels 35 years into the future and doesn't like what he finds: himself, who's known as Stu as an adult. So Stewie goes about remaking Stu's life, despite Stu's objections.

When the family has a garage sale, Brian accidentally sells Stewie's beloved teddy bear Rupert. Stewie is so distraught that Brian takes him on a cross-country road trip to Aspen, CO. When they find the culprit, Stanford, Stewie challenges him to a ski-off to get Rupert back. Meanwhile, Peter loses his license, so Meg has to drive him around.

To take advantage of a work policy granting leave in the event of a pet's death, Peter adopts the oldest bird he can find... and realizes it used to belong to Hitler. Meanwhile, after giving Stewie a signed copy of his book, Brian finds it in a free library, causing Brian to give up writing.
