    Jack goes to City Hall to complain about the trash rate increase. When that doesn't work, he goes on a radio show called Beach Talk to air his complaints, and is stunned when James Bradford arrives to counter Jack's allegations as owner of Allied Waste Disposal.

    Jack's Bistro becomes the "in" place to eat in Santa Monica and Jack becomes a celebrity after a famous food critic gives his French fare a marvelous review. Jack forgets the first anniversary of the day he met Vicky and the cruise they are to take that day.
