Optimistic and cheerful transfer student Zhang Jun-jia has always used his smile to get through everything—until he meets He Yan-kai(Xiao He). Xiao He is the dazzling lead singer of a band: aloof, stubborn, and born with a heart condition, yet he refuses to let anyone pity him. Through music, the two boys find their way to each other, and an unspoken attraction quietly begins to grow—until a sudden accident forces them apart. Jun-jia falls into endless longing and grief, until he realizes that Diao-qin, a member of the basketball team, has always been quietly watching over him, appearing whenever he needs someone most.
