当代。于文海从常州图谋到北京发展。火车上，他认识了一个朋友，并给这朋友留下了姐姐于文娟的电话。没想到此人是个骗子。骗子中途下车，利用时间差打电话给于文娟，谎称于文海火车上突发暴病，急需手术费。于文娟急火攻心，导致心脏病发作被送进医院；为此，于文娟的丈夫、有一说一的主持人严守一正在录制的节目也被迫中断，严守一和节目总策划费墨赶到医院，幸好人无大恙，只是虚惊一场。 与此同时，严守一老家的哥哥黑砖头聚众小赌被抓，派出所所长是严守一同学，黑砖头想打通电话找严守一说情，但没想到电话接通后，严守一让派出所严加管教。黑砖头叫苦不迭，在同伙面前脸面尽失。 深夜，严守一接到公司薛总的短信，公司有重大人事变动，改革派人物段大可将主管节目制作。《有一说一》面临被改革的危险。
