Celinha e Mário Jorge fazem dez anos de casados. Eles decidem comemorar a data em um jantar em casa, com a presença de toda a família. Rita e Arnaldo aproveitam a oportunidade para celebrar também seus dez anos de união, sem gastar dinheiro. Já Dona Álvara presenteia os anfitriões com um castiçal. Para a infelicidade da síndica, Deise reconhece o objeto, roubado da portaria do condomínio Jambalaya. Apesar da confusão que se instaura, Celinha gosta da festa e propõe, no final do jantar, que todos da mesa façam trovas. Enquanto isso, Adônis diz que está apaixonado. Ele conhece uma menina, filha do dono da favela do Matagal, que, segundo o jovem, o deixa com “uma alegria enorme”. Celinha e Arnaldo ficam preocupados com o filho, que se recusa a terminar o relacionamento com a namorada.
