Lardner's Ring

A mortally wounded messenger from King Richard flees Locksley Manor, pursued by Gisborne's men, and runs straight into the arms of Robin. In his dying breaths, the messenger utters the word 'Lardner', to Robin's confusion.What is clear, though, is that Gisborne and the Sheriff are hunting the same Lardner. Trapped in the tree that houses the secret, Robin and Marian realise that unless they resort to desperate measures - and the help of a Fool - they face certain death.
