In Fort Worth, Texas, Officer Eddleman happens upon a fire at a local motel, a blaze later determined to be the work of an arsonist. In Des Moines, Iowa, Officer Cornwell gives chase when a speeding motorcyclist ditches his vehicle and flees on foot.
